Which release schedule do you prefer ? - Segments 1.2 and 1.3 released

Hello, I have just released Segments 1.2 (Types and objects) and 1.3 (Predefined types) with the corresponding Quizzes 1.3 to 1.6. These are due on April the 3rd.

Quizzes related to Segments 1.1 remain due on March the 27th.

I have been asked to release all the content and quizzes in one go so that you can work on the material at your own peace, but I don't know.. it is my experience that online courses move smoothly when the release is progressive and the class is more or less all at the same point, so for example questions in the forum can be answered by (and benefit) other students.. I may for example release 2 or 3 weeks in advance instead of one to increase flexibility, but I am a bit reluctant to release the entire course at once.

What is your opinion ?

Hi,

Releasing 3 weeks in advance sounds fine so that if one has a busy week and cannot work on the assignment, he/she can still anticipate and do it early in my opinion.

I think it is better to have the whole course to have an opportunity to move as fast as each student can. Online courses are more about individual work, so everyone organizes their work as it is more convenient for each student.
